Ashbury Heights Red Door Studio is a lovely & affordable garden studio in geographic center – $135/night
Down a plant-filled private walkway and through two red doors is The Red Door Garden Studio—the perfect refuge for those exploring the delights of San Francisco or here on business. The Red Door is at the back, garden-level of a 2-unit 1924 Edwardian building in Ashbury Heights. Relax on the studio’s deck and enjoy the garden’s quiet. The studio includes stone counter-tops in the kitchen, new stove & Bosch dishwasher, a queen-size bed and tasteful furnishings throughout. Coffee and tea are provided along with the makings for a healthy breakfast to start the day.
The central location, on a tree-lined street in a friendly neighborhood, enables guests to walk to the colorful shops and restaurants of Haight-Ashbury and Cole Valley as well as, nearby Golden Gate Park. Well-served by electric rail and multiple bus lines, in 10-15 minutes you can reach: Civic Center and Union Square shopping centers, the Embarcadero, the Castro, Ocean Beach or the Mission. It’s a quick and easy transfer to Chinatown and Fisherman’s Wharf buses and cable cars.
Our guests enjoy easy walking to a wide range of delicious and inexpensive restaurants (Thai, Indian, Italian, American, Asian fusion, noodle shops) as well as upscale California-Asian and sushi restaurants. Easily reached by public transportation are numerous ethnic restaurants to satisfy any culinary interest! We’re happy to share our personal favorites. If you feel like relaxing and eating in, the corner market’s in-house chef creates delicious dishes each day. Or buy your own lunch or dinner makings from the market’s fresh fish/meat/cheese counter along with their full line of groceries, organic fruits & vegetables and, of course, wine!
Additional amenities to ensure the comfort of our guests include a flat panel TV with HBO (cable connection), highspeed internet connection, microwave, toaster oven, espresso maker, hair dryer and iron.
