Our solar-powered home is in the Arts & Crafts Style, built in 1903, although the downstairs B & B suite is newer and quite light and modern. The accommodation is a double bed and a single day bed in a spacious, sunny room. The bathroom has a tub/shower and is private. There is a VHS player in the room with a selection of movies. There is also a microwave, small refrigerator (with beverages!) and hot plate in the suite. A generous organic continental breakfast will be provided, including fresh hard-boiled eggs from our hens! There is ample parking -- Guests may use the garage as their private entrance. The house is located 7/10ths of a mile from Downtown Mill Valley with all its restaurants and public transportation. There is a waterfall and lovely hiking the opposite direction down the street. The house has a view of Mt. Tam and is in what they call "Cascade Canyon" -- it is generally quite peaceful and quiet. It is a 45 minute hike up to The Mountain Home Inn and Restaurant. It is a 15 minute drive to the Golden Gate Bridge into the City. Wireless internet provided. Two cats live upstairs and do not come down to the suite. French spoken.

Great location, very nice guest
suite. Suitable for friends or couples, with private entrance. Lauren was
friendly, accommodating and very helpful with suggestions for trail hikes
and dinners in town. Great breakfasts and goodies with a touch of
"Francais".
